LOOK WHAT I GOT

My son Arius just gave me a pair of 16" subwoofer units from Great Plains Audio.
They weigh almost 12 kg each.

These are some of the best on the market, and can be used with almost any cabinet type.

They require 470 (!) liters to reproduce 27 Hz, but provide realistic continuous deep bass at extreme levels.

A very low Qts of 0.255 gives superb control over the bass response with an XMax of only 5 mm..!

We'll see if I can make room for such a large cabinet..?
Or - I'll probably use them in a couple of smaller cabinets (possibly transmissionline) of about 100 liters, to get more punch in the upper bass range and lower midrange.

I already have enough sub bass..?!

Styles for Genos 2 - Pack 191

100 styles.
These styles are mostly fully compatible, while some require adjustments.
They also fit many other models either fully or partially.
Possible compatible models are Tyros 2 and later.

Some are only compatible with Genos 2.

YAMAHA IS DOING SOMETHING RIGHT

Genos 2 contains a lot of Combo styles and Generic styles.

This is a step in the right direction; away from Songstyles, towards styles that are universal and not locked to a song.

It should be noted, however, that anyone can easily convert Songstyles to Generic or Combo, as
⚖Robinez recently showed us in a tutorial.


I plan to do this with all of the Pa5X's internal styles, but use a different method, where I simply mute tracks that have melody parts.
